Beautifully maintained with clean, comfortable and elegantly decorated rooms, this 47-room hotel near Montparnasse is charming and offers a great value. Family-run, located near the Raspail Metro, walking distance to Montparnasse and the Luxembourg Gardens, Aiglon is definitely worth considering for your stay in Paris.

Clean, comfortable (but teeny) rooms are offered in this 40-guestroom hotel near the Montparnasse tower. The location offers easy access to anywhere in Paris, excellent shopping and dining. All rooms have baths, hair dryers, color cable television, direct dial telephones and alarm clocks. Not bad for a two-star hotel.

Pavillion Royal Monsouris****
This fairly new hotel has taken a page from the Ian Schrager school of hotel management: Give people a quirky hotel with offbeat decor, a few upscale amenities and something to talk about, and they'll not only return, the word-of-mouth will carry the bookings. This little hotel fits the bill, with its jewel-toned rooms and furnishings, plasma-screen televisions, handmade glass lamps and terra-cotta tiled floors. The only thing keeping this 33-room property from being the darling of the fashion or film-industry crowd is its location, great for your plebian tourists, but not trendy enough for the elite. I'd certainly stay here, I love quirky.

Located on a small street just steps from the Mouton Duvernet Metro, this little (33 guestrooms) hotel is family-run and offers friendly and attentive service. Rooms have baths with either tub or shower (or both,) color cable television, room safes, direct-dial telephones with modem ports and light, airy rattan furnishings. The rates are excellent for this level of service and accommodation.
